We decided not to have dessert because we were stuffed, but the options for the day made our mouth water. I never eat a whole plate, but I did that evening.
I could not have been happier with my meal choice. The white sauce that was poured over it was delicious. It was so juicy and the rice and beans that came with it made the whole meal. I ordered the lamb and I was not disappointed. The pork chops were slightly on the dry side but were flavorful.
The sweet potatoes had a rich taste to them. He ordered the pork chops with two sides and thought the sides were great. We had the trout dip which was very favorable and great, but the portion was a little small. He said his beer was delicious and ordered another with his meal. The mojito was a little on the carbonated side but had a refreshing taste. My husband ordered the Black IPA that was on draft and I ordered a mojito. She even brought out a pair of binoculars so we could look for the Bickle Knob Observation Tower from our table (if you have never been, it’s a 360 view of Randolph County).
